Sr. Catherine and Sr. Lourdes leave for the Bekaa to begin their

mission with the Sisters of Bon Service in Jabboulé.

Thévenet Teacher Training College is built.

Scientific Students transfer to St. Joseph School.

Oct. 1983:
Sr. Youmna becomes Principal of Primary Division.

first students begin their studies at the College.

Jan. 1984:
Sr. Marie-Thérèse joins the Damascus Community and Sr. Rosario replaces her.

Dec. 1984:
Sr. Jennifer goes to Damascus and Sr. Helen arrives from Damascus.
construction of the Foyer begins.

Oct. 1985:
Mr. David Hudson is appointed Director General of the School, with his wife
Brenda as vice-Principal in the High School.

Mrs. Antoinette Sebaali, (then Miss Rizcallah) becomes the College Principal.

Sr.
Catherine is named Principal of the Primary Division, replacing Sr. Youmna for
a year.

Nov. 1985:
Some of the Community move from Cornet Chahwan to Rabweh.

Oct. 1986:
The Scientific Section re-opens in Rabweh.

July 1987:
Sr Monica retires from the High School and goes to a new post in the Central
Administration. Sr. Helen replaces her as Principal of the High School.

Mgr. Ad Abi Karam takes up his responsibilities as the Rector of the School,
replacing Mr. Hudson who returnes to England.
